Next stop- Heidelberg! The conference! 300+ American/Canadian/Brits all together in one youth hostel - formula for craziness!!! It is a really small historical city with lots of Americans living there because of a military base nearby. Saw an amazing castle, hiked up the "Philosophers Hike", got lost and ended up on the other side of the mountain! It was very hot in Heidelberg- we were literally drenched in sweat the whole time we were there! They had organized company tours for us so I got to see Schotts Solar - a company that makes solar panels. Got a private tour of their supply line which operates 24/7 365. See pictures!

Fireworks in Heidelberg - nearly not as impressive as the July 4th fireworks in the US. All the Germans found em very amusing though.
